Registration
Registrations are accepted for all programs through the mail, by phone, fax, in person or our drop-in slot at the Recreation Department. Registrations are accepted on a first come, first serve basis. Forms are located in the brochure, available at the Recreation Department or may be printed off our website. Registration is open to residents of the South Euclid-Lyndhurst School District. All non-residents will pay the established non-resident rate.

Fees and Payments
Registration fees for classes and programs are only payable through the SELREC office and must be paid in full prior to the first scheduled class. SELREC instructors cannot accept registration forms and/or fees at the program site. Early registration and payment is critical for the viability of these classes and for assurance of your spot in the class or program. Registration will close when a program has reached its maximum number and a waiting list will be created. SELREC reserves the right to accept or deny registrations if they are received after the first scheduled class has been held. You may pay by cash, personal check, money order, Visa, Master Card or Discover for any SELREC program. All charges are subject to authorization by charge card center. If you charge programs by phone, you acknowledge that you have read and fully understand the refund policy.

Returned Check Policy - NSF
If your check is returned for nonsufficient funds (NSF), your checking account will be debited electronically for both the face amount of the check and a returned check fee of $30.00

Confirmations and Cancellations
SELREC does not mail confirmations for class enrollments. We notify all registered participants of any changes or cancellations of programs. If a program has filled, you will be notified and placed on a waiting list. If enrollment is insufficient for any particular class, the class will be cancelled and fees will be refunded in full within 4 to 6 weeks after cancellation. SELREC reserves the right to cancel, combine or divide classes, to change time, day, date, or place of meeting, to change the instructor assignments, and to make revisions in class offerings.

Attendance Policy
The inability to attend a class because of a change in personal circumstances does not warrant a refund. Pro-rated letters of credit will be issued only for extended illness and/or injury documented, verified in writing, and signed by a physician. Letters of credit will not include the cost of any materials and/or supplies purchased for students by the instructor for their class.

Children are not allowed to accompany you to adult classes. Also, unregistered siblings are not permitted to attend youth or teen classes. High school students may register for most SELREC adult classes provided they are held in the SE-L school district locations.

Non-Endorsement Policy
Instructors used by SELREC are contracted or hired because they have a special skill or talent which they are willing to share with our communities. Please note however, SELREC does not endorse the opinions or business affiliations of our instructors/contractors.

Liability
SELREC does not provide insurance for program participants. Be aware that participation in SELREC activities can sometimes result in injuries. Understanding the risks to these activities, the participant in a SELREC activity will make no claim or demand against SELREC, the City of South Euclid, the City of Lyndhurst, and/or SE-L Board of Education or their agents and employees in the event of accidental occurrence
