Our History
The South Euclid-Lyndhurst Recreation Commission was organized in June 1946 with the intent purpose to meet the recreational needs of the residents of the South Euclid-Lyndhurst School District. Over the years, SELREC has grown into a full recreation department offering over 500 classes and programs designed to enhance you and your family’s active lifestyle.

SELREC Commissioners
SELREC continues to have the benefit of a dedicated committee of volunteers who blend their civic commitment and enthusiasm to further facilitate the mission of SELREC. These individuals provide valuable input and creative solutions for a healthy community.

Scholarship Fund
Give the Gift of Fun & Recreation! Each year we provide a significant amount of Financial assistance, but we are not able to meet all the needs of the community. You can help by making a donation to our Scholarship Fund. The fund provides financial assistance to residents who would not otherwise be able to participate in our programs or activities. If you would like to make a donation or are in need of assistance, please contact us.
